Carmen Hernandez (Salinas) Nee Villagomez Age 76
At rest Friday November 5, 2010 at Silver Cross Hospital Survived by eight daughters Isabel Stevenson, Judy (Freddie) Obra, Linda (Dennis) Feaster, Nancy (Roy) Spielvogel, Sandi (Larry) Kobylka, Sylvia (Mark) Milhoan, Yolanda (James) Lopez, Delia (James) Hernandez, 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, brothers Rodrigo (Petra), Jesus (Delia), Laldislada Villagomez, Sister Eleanor Villagomez. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her husband Joe (Ysidro) Hernandez, parents Felix Villagomez and Tomasita Romo, sisters Juanita Rodriguez, Elena Villagomez brother Cresenciano Villagomez, and grandson Joseph Alan Stevenson. Carmen was one of the first Parishioners of Santa Cruz Church, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and always was very friendly and charitable. A Celebration of Carmen"s life will be held on Tuesday November 9, 2010 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, then in procession to Santa Cruz/First Lutheran Church on Benton and Ottawa St. at 10 AM. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 8 PM at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
