Bruce J. Little, age 79, entered eternal life on Monday, August 25, 2014 with his loving family by his side.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Joan (nee Valek); loving children, Bruce (Barbara), Randall (Charlene), Laurie (Dan) Byrne, and Kimberly Winterstein; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer and Christina Little, Emily, Christopher, Sarah, and Matthew Byrne, Jessica and Cody Winterstein; dearest great grandchild, Kent; loving brother, Ronald (Edith) Little; dear brother-in-law, Anthony (Dolores) Valek; dear sister-in-law, Dolores (the late Richard) Regganie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Agnes (nee Hohenwater) Little; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony and Anna (Jantolak) Valek; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Ted and Lillian Juricic, and Richard Regganie.
Bruce was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company Management after 31 years of employment. Bruce enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Bruce's life will begin on Thursday, August 28, 2014 with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, 60435. On Friday, August 29, 2014, prayers will be offered in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., Fr.
