Age 62, died on May 2, 2009 after a lingering illness. Preceded in death by her parents Valentine and Maria Malnar. Survived by her loving husband Chris A. Peterson; one son Michael C. Peterson; one sister Mary (Jack) McClintock; one sister-in-law Shirley (David) Prest of Phoenix, AZ. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Lifelong resident of the Joliet area. Graduated from Joliet Township High School in 1965 and attended JJC. She was employed at Argonne National Laboratory and was a Medical Transciptionist at Silver Cross Hospital. In lieu of flowers donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 9:30 AM from Tezak Funeral Home 1211 Plainfield Rd. Joliet, IL to St. Judes Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
