Brian Joseph Buldak, age 58, peacefully departed from this world on Monday, December 11, 2023, surrounded by the love of his life, his wife Pilar. Brian dedicated eight years of his life to DHL Supply Chain in Elwood, leaving an indelible mark with his hard work and commitment.
An unwavering Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Brian was more than a sports enthusiast—he was a humble and kind soul who cherished his family and friends deeply. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Brian is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Dillon, and his grandparents Charles and Tillie Buldak, and Walter "Dusty" and Mary Miller. He is survived by his devoted wife, Pilar Buldak (nee Dillon), his loving parents Robert and Diana Buldak, and Robert Dillon. Brian is also remembered fondly by his siblings, Chuck (Andrew), Tom (Jackie), Jim (Gina), Chris (Marianne), Brad (Stephanie), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. At Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd. Joliet, IL Chapel services will commence after visitation at 12:00 PM, followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 1500 N. Raynor, Joliet, IL.
