On Tuesday, January 3rd , 2023, Bonnie Kay Deaville, loving wife of Thomas Deaville and mother of Nicholas Niner and Slone Taylor, and grandmother of Lennox Taylor passed away at age 51. Always one to make one feel right at home, Bonnie has worked in the restaurant business as a server and host for most of her life. Her presence in these roles have provided great meal experiences for patrons – one where no matter what, she made you feel welcome under her attentive care. She was an excellent caretaker for her mother and mother-in-law, always going the extra mile to make them smile. This attention to detail and care extended to her ability to turn any house into a home, of which were always beautiful.
Bonnie was full of life, and this remained so even up to her passing. Everyone who knew her can attest how much fun she was – how her presence in any event or outing made those times feel so alive. Her spirit was vast, deep, and powerful. In life she thought of herself akin to a storm, and while storms may be chaotic by nature, they are also vital as things of positive change and renewal. And like a storm, she was a refutation against stagnation, and her love for all those around her: a gentle rain to wash away any despair.
Bonnie was best known for her warm, kind, and accepting nature, her quick wit, infectious personality, and her way of bringing out the best in others. She is survived by her husband, Thomas, and her son and daughter, Nicholas and Slone. A memorial service celebrating Bonnie's life will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cemeno’s Pizza, 1630 Essington Rd, Joliet, IL
