Bilmer Diaz Pantoja, age 75, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018.
Bilmer is survived by his loving children, Osvaldo (Nelly) Diaz, Griselda (Jaime) Balderas, Eric (Teresa) Diaz, Miriam (Alfonso) Diaz, Bilmer (Crystal) Diaz, Carmen (Ruben) Contreras, Israel (Marisol) Diaz, and Jacob (Mariza) Diaz; siblings, Fidel (Bernardina) Diaz, Celia Miranda, Lilia Diaz, Artemio (Maricela) Diaz, Aurora (Ramiro) Villagmez, Jose Luis (MsAsuncion) Diaz, Estela (Juan A) Valtierra, Carolina (Eziquio) Gallardo, Obdulia (Porfirio) Guzman; sister-in-law, Josefina Diaz; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Juana (nee Pantoja) Diaz; brothers, Alfredo (Eva) Diaz, Salvador Diaz; sister, Graciela (Conrado) Gilbon; daughter, M. Licceloc Diaz; and bother-in-law, Froylan Miranda.
Bilmer was born in Pinicuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico. Eventually, he would move to Joliet, Illinois where he resided for 20 years. Bilmer had a great love for music and singing and was very active in Our Lady of Mount Carmel’s choir, which was his greatest gratification. He will greatly be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Bilmer’s life will begin on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for a Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, located at 205 E Jackson St, Joliet, IL from 3:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. Obituary and tribute wall for Bilmer Diaz Pantoja at www.tezakfuneralhome.com or for information, 815-722-0524.
