Beverly M. (Pierce) Pisut

Born April 25, 1943, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at her residence in the loving arms of her husband. Plainfield resident since 1993, lifelong Joliet area resident.

Survived by husband, Stephen M. Pisut, Sr. whom she married September 16, 1967; daughter, Michelle C. (John) Owens of LaGrange, IL; son, Stephen M. Pisut II of Plainfield; a dear and loving brother, William R. (Sue) Pierce of Minooka, who was frequently at her side during her lengthy illness; her mother, Elsie F. (Jago) Pierce, Blountstown, FL; a brother, Charles C. (Harriet) Pierce of Lone Jack, MO; a sister Lois A. (William) Smith of Joliet; a brother-in-law, James R. (Sue) Pisut of Plainfield; a brother-in-law, John (Dolly) Pisut of Plainfield, a sister-in-law, Marianne (John R.) Jarman of Mokena; an aunt, Mary (Kokas) Pierce of Vista, CA; a dear uncle, Dr. Richard W. (""Uncle Dick"") Zalar of Joliet; her goddaughter, Stephanie A. Jarman of Mokena; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her father, Fred C. Pierce (1989); one sister-in-law, Marsha J. (James R.) Pisut (1992); and one niece, Melissa A. Pisut.

An expert seamstress, she owned and operated Beverly's Interiors, designing, sewing and selling custom draperies and accessories for the home for over 25 years.

Dearly loved her family and frequent trips to the family lake house in Hayward, WI, despite her illness she traveled there in late July to celebrate her children's birthdays and enjoy one last visit to her home away from home.

Donations in Beverly's memory to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be most appreciated.

Pisut Funeral Services in charge of arrangements at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd., Joliet, IL. from where funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at 11:00AM. to Holy Family Church, Shorewood for 11:30AM Mass. Per Beverly's wishes cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be Tuesday 4 to 8 PM.
