Beverly A�??RedA�?i�� Jasurda, 84, passed away peacefully at home on March 26, 2012.
Born on October 14, 1927 in Joliet, Beverly is now happily reunited with her loving husband of 55 years, Martin, who passed away in 2005.
Beverly is survived by her three children: Martin Jasurda (Sherry Dohner) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joyce Jasurda Hammig (Bryant) of Park Ridge, IL, and Michael Jasurda (Barb Behrens) of Irvine, CA; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Joann and James Bowers of Bloomington, IL. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Remembered as the friendly face of the White Fence Farm Restaurant, she was a dedicated employee of 32 years, working as waitress, trainer and hostess. She opened each of the Chicago area White Fence Farm carryout restaurants and served as manager of the former Joliet locations at Cass St. and on the corner of Center and Western.
In her A�??retirementA�?i�� years spent in Stuart, Florida, Beverly lent her energy and talent to Fannie May Candies and Publix Supermarkets.
Beverly enjoyed cheerleading at JT Central and roller-skating with her pals at the local Joliet rinks as a young woman. She had a great love for dogs beginning with her beautiful collie A�??LaddieA�?i��.
The soul of her family, Beverly was a great cook who liked nothing better than packing the car for a family picnic and a swim at the beach. She was known for her delicious pies, cookies and pastries. Everyone was welcome at BevA�??s table.
Her easy laugh, sass and love of life through thick and thin made her a woman to love. She is a mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, co-worker and friend who will be sorely missed.
Memorials to the AlzheimerA�??s Association or Will County Humane Society would be appreciated.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31st from 10am until the time of memorial service at 12:00 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
