Beverly A. (nee Elenwood) Bertino, age 84, lifelong resident of Joliet died peacefully at Joliet Community Hospice Home on Friday, August 16, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Beloved mother of Daniel T. (Luann), David G. (Brenda) and Vicki (Tom) Lennon; Proud Grandmother of Brian (Jessica), Matthew, Nicholas (Angie), and Nathan Bertino, Breanna and Thomas, Jr Lennon; Great Grandmother of Stephanie and Zachary, Danyelle Bertino, and Colin Bertino; Sister to Ardis (Ernie) Bankroff; Sister-in-law to Raymond (Dolores), Lawrence (Ruth) Bertino, and Maryann (James) Crater; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death her loving husband Thomas J. Bertino; parents, George and Frances Elenwood; infant brother, George; three brothers-in-law, George (late Lee), Bob (late Ann) and Joe (Geri) Bertino; two sisters-in-law, Edith (Bob) Irwin and Betty (Lavern) Kren.
Beverly was the administrative assistant to the principal at Hufford Junior High for 25 years. She was in charge of the concession stand for numerous years at St. Joe's Baseball Field in Joliet. She kept the scorebook for her husband, children, and grandchildren's baseball teams for over five decades. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, golf, traveling, puzzles, reading, and painting and was an avid fan of baseball and hockey.

A celebration of Beverly's Life will begin with a visitation on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm and on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 9-10 am with a celebration of life service at 10 am at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, 60435.
