Beulah M. "Bea" (Ware) Wisz

Beulah M. "Bea" Wisz, (nee Ware), age 89, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Beulah is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Richard S. Wisz; her children, Diane (Anton) Balaja, David J. (Bridget) Wisz; grandchildren, Sarah (Charles) Collins, Kelsey Balaja, Autumn, Tyler and Vincent Wisz; great-grandchildren, Sophie and Emma Collins, Kaison Balaja; sister, Patsy (Joe) Wenz; aunt, Ruby Duncan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernadine (late Thomas), Kathleen (late Norbert), Phyllis (late Leonard), Edmund (Dixie), Robert (Julie), George (Sue) Wisz, Mary (Eugene) Lauritzen and Joan (John) Georgas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in death by her parents, Henry Ware and Bertha (nee Tobin) (Jasper) McAllister; brothers and sister–in-law, Thomas, Norbert, Fred, Leonard and Dorothy Wisz.

Beulah was born and raised in Elvins, Missouri. She spent most of her childhood in Vandalia, IL. She was an employee of Western Electric where she met her beloved Richard. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church. Beulah loved gardening, collecting owl figurines and was fiercely protective of her children. Beulah will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Beulah’s name to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or Priests for Life c/o Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director – PO Box 1491, Merrifield, VA 22116-1491 would be appreciated.

A celebration of Beulah’s life will begin on Monday, February 5, 2018, with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Chapel prayers will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in the funeral home chapel at 10:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m.   Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Visitation will be on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
