Bertha Radakovich, Age 103. At rest Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at home. Lifelong Joliet resident.
A devout and founding member of the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, Bertha found great joy in her faith and actively participated in the St. Sava Circle of Serbian Sisters Auxiliary holding several offices throughout the years and singing in the church choir. As a proud Serbian, her commitment to her church was unwavering, and she will be missed by all who knew her within her church parish. Moreover, Bertha was fiercely devoted to her family, whom she nurtured throughout her life with boundless energy and love.
Preceded in death by her husband Peter Radakovich and two infant daughters Melanie and Joan; her parents, Sam and Mildred (nee Kljaich) Jokich; sisters Sarah, Angelia and Martha (late Dan, Sr.) Kesich; bothers Michael, Lewis, Joseph and Peter (late Pearl) Jokich.
Survived by her loving daughter and sidekick, Debbie Radakovich, her “pal” and son-in-law, Terry Hart; fond nephew, Dan (Marcia) Kesich, Jr., grand pup Hogan II and numerous nieces, nephews and Kumovi.

Services were held on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church with Very Rev. Stavrophor Savo Cakardic and Very Rev. Archimandrite Thomas Kazich officiating. Memorials in Bertha’s name may be made to St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 3457 Black Road, Joliet, Illinois 60431.
