At rest Tuesday April 29, 2008 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.
She is survived by her loving daughter Mary Kathleen (Bob) Martin; adoring grandchildren Valerie and David (Christina) Martin; loving daughter-in-law Sue Rusco. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Robert Petrusa, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Theodore of 73 years. She was also preceded in death by her son, Theodore Francis Rusco, her parents John and Catherine (nee Stariha) Petrusa, her sister Erna, and her brothers Ralph, John and Emil and Lawrence.
Bernice retired from Al Baskin's after 27 years of service. She was a member and past president of Ladies of Auxiliary of St. Joseph Hospital Joanites, Lockport Golf Club, and Joliet Senior Citizens.

From where services will be held on Tuesday, May 6 at 12:30 to Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel for a mass of Christian burial at 1:00 PM. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation Tuesday at 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
