Loving mother of Laurel (Fiance Doug Linn) Brown, Lynn (Samuel) Reichert, and Larry (Jane) Kuzma. Dearest Grandmother of Cara Johnson; Jeff Brown; Tim Harmon; Sunny Reichert; Michael, Lisa, Katie, and Keenan Kuzma. One Brother, Eugene (Late Georgia) Hoffmeyer. Also survived by numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Kuzma, parents William and Mabel (nee Borgman) Hoffmeyer, one sister Lucielle (Milfred) Cushing, two brothers; Richard (Bernadine), and Raymond (Dorothy).
Bernardine was born in Joliet and a life long resident. Retired as a registered nurse from St. Joseph Hospital and private duty nursing. She was a Navy Nurse Lt. in WWII, stationed at Pearl Harbor. Bernardine was a member of Rosarians, Altar and Rosary Society, St. Joseph Senior Parishioners, and Cantigny Post VFW #367.
Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life
from where funeral services will be at 9:30 am, Friday, December 7, 2007 to St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10am. Internment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday December 6, 2007 from 3-8pm at Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life.
