Age 73, died Monday, April 20, 2009 suddenly. Survived by his wife, Patricia J. (nee Fitzgerald); four step-children, Bob Henry of Fairfield, CA., Lynn (Roger) Winters of Benicia, CA, Mike (Cindy) Henry of Anacortes, WA and Chuck (Joyce) Henry of Plainfield, IL; one brother, Edward (Marilyn) Stofko of Joliet and one sister Fran (late Victor) Sing of Southern IL.; grandfather, (Papa) to Joni (Hans) Lubinger, R.J. Winters (Carrie Wilhelm), John Paul, Nathan, Jessica and Anna Henry; great-papa to Justin and Abygail Lubinger and Dalton Winters. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Stofko; four brothers, John, Ray, Joe and one brother at infancy. Born in Joliet, currently of Lemont, IL. Retired after 45 years from the Caterpillar Tractor, Co. Served in the U.S. Army. Lifelong member of the S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church of Joliet. He was an avid bowler in the Joliet area. Loved to spend time with his buddies at the Joliet OTB and he had a love of Lionel Trains. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wish Upon a Star Foundation would be appreciated.
