Age 81 at rest Monday November 13, 2006 at his home with his family by his side. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Josephine A. (nee Juricic) Ressler. Loving father of Michael I. Ressler, sister Bernice (late Peter) Limbach. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Stricko) Ressler, sister Rosemary Ressler, three brothers Joseph (Elizabeth), George (Margaret), Lawrence Ressler. Bernard was born in Joliet, and a life long resident. Retired in 1990 as a purchasing agent for Lockport Steel Fabricators after 46 years of service. Veteran U.S. Navy WWII. Was life member and past commander of Stone City Post 2199, American Legion Post 1080. He was an avid golfer with the Medicare Swingers. In Lieu of Flowers donations to the Corners Stone Foundation would be appreciated.
