Age 86. Entered eternal life Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Rosewood Care Center in Joliet. Bernadine was employed as a business manager at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center for over 30 years. She will be remembered for her devotion to the Catholic faith, her love for her family, and her unfailing generosity to many charitable organizations.
Preceded in death by her husband Matthew, her parents Joseph and Delia (nee Hazer) Tenn, brothers Eugene, Edward, Donald, and William, and sisters Marie (Frank) Huska, Lorraine (Thomas) Lay, and Catherine (William) Fleming.
Survived by her sisters Irma (Wayne) Nelson, Elizabeth (Elmer) Drauden of Wilmington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Passages Hospice, 515 Warrenville Rd., Lisle, IL 60532.
Funeral services for Bernadine L. Tomsich will be Saturday December 10, 2011, at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
