Bernadine R. A�??BernieA�?i�� Shroba, nee Stukel, age 81, of Joliet, at rest on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Loving sister of Mary Ann (the late Theodore) Felbinger, Helen (the late Gerald) Krause, Lillian (J. Patrick) Shuba, Margaret (Donald) Pinkston, Irene (Anton) Bosonetta, Stephen (the late Ruth), Robert (Jackie), Joseph (Jean) and Raymond (Sharon) Stukel; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband Stephen S. Shroba; her parents, Stephen J. and Mary F. (nee Horvat) Stukel.
Bernie was born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident. She was employed for 20 years for Dr. Edward M. Svetich and retired from Christian Brothers Services. She was a member of St. Francis KSKJ #29 and also a volunteer for Presence St. Joseph Hospital.

A Celebration of BernieA�??s life will begin on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 with family and friends meeting at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Private inurnment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Joliet. There will be no services or visitation held at the funeral home
