Bernadine H. Jancsura

Bernadine H. A�??BabeA�?i�� Jancsura, age 96, of Minooka, formerly of Joliet and Bloomington-Normal, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2013 at home with family and her caregiver of seven years, Zofia, by her side. Born in Bloomington, daughter of the late Alex and Helen Uszcienski. Babe, her husband George and daughter Joan lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for six years while he was on assignment from Caterpillar. Babe had many interests and joys in her life including bingo, cards and Yahtzee games with family. She was a whiz at puzzles, loved vacations A�??up northA�?i��, and cherished times with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her late husband of 55 years, George J. Jancsura (1995) and five siblings.

The family left to cherish her memories: her daughter Joan (Joe) Glanek; grandchildren, Leah Kittl, Wade (fiancA�AC.e Suzy Tontea) Glanek, Kyla (Mark) Giacomi; great-grandchildren, Avery and Austin Kittl and Dominic and Joey Giacomi. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice.

A Celebration of BabeA�??s life will begin Monday, January 28, 2013 at 9:15 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel then moving in procession to St. Mary Catholic Church, 303 E. St. MaryA�??s Street, Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Minooka.
