Barbara A. Pierce, age 60, at rest on Saturday, January 19, 2013 with her loving family and friends by her side.
Survived by her loving husband of 41 years Gary R. Pierce; two brothers George Jr. (Helen) and John Miller; and two sisters Joan (Michael) Isabelli and Jean (Ben) Venegas; two sisters-in-law Lanell (David) Johnson and Sue (Ted) Bonney; two godchildren Sharleen (Shawn) Hill and Steven Vargo; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents Mary (nee Cathcart) and George Miller Sr.; one sister Kathleen Miller; one aunt Elizabeth Becker; father-in-law Willis A�??SpeckA�?i�� Pierce and mother-in-law Opal (nee Page) L. Pierce.
Barbara was a long time boater and lover of the water. She retired from Chicago Title after 36 years of service. Barbara was a loving wife, sister, and godmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Joy to the world.
In lieu of flowers donations in BarbaraA�??s name may be made to the Morris Hospital Intensive Care Unit, 150 West High Street, Morris IL, 60450.
Per BarbaraA�??s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. The family invites all relatives and friends to meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:50 a.m. for a committal service to promptly begin at 11:00 a.m.
