Barbara Jean Midlock, age 95, born February 2, 1920. Passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Joliet Area Community
Hospice center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Aloysius (Al) Midlock, which they were married for 72 years before his death in December 2010; her parents, Anton and Lucille (Tasso) Ferro; sisters, Pauline Berdis, Eleanor Vargo, Viola Wade, Caroline Helbling; and one brother, John Ferro.
Survived by her family, John and Suzanne Midlock of Galena, IL and Joseph and Diane Midlock of Joliet. Grandchildren, Christopher and Kimberly Midlock, Matthew and Pattie Midlock, Michelle and Brian Nedelsky and Jessica Welz. Great grandchildren, Hannah, Makenna, and Kayleigh Midlock, Camden and Jacob Nedelsky. One sister, Frances Fenogilio of Clinton, IN. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Barb was born in Clinton, IN, and at an early age her family moved to Joliet and lived on the east side. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family over the years. She enjoyed bowling, which she won many awards and trophies. She was a Chicago sports fan, enjoyed watching the Cubs, and in the past few years the Blackhawks.
We wish to thank the nursing staff at Joliet Area Community Hospice and our in home care nurses at VCP Home Health Care, Inc. for their care of mom.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. from Tezak Funeral Home to St. Anthony Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery/ Mausoleum in Romeoville. Visitation will be Monday, April 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
