Born Jan. 24, 1924 in Chicago attending J.D. Alquild School for 8yrs straight not missing a day of school, moving to Frankfort in 1938 and attending Joliet Central High School graduating in 1942. Going to work at Meadow Gold Dairy until he enlisted in the Marines in 1943 for 3yrs, returning to Meadow Gold until he started the West End Garage (1954-1989) on Plainfield Road enjoying every day.
He Loved to travel and was in all 50 states and 88 foreign counties enjoying every minute of his travels.
Survived by his wife of 60 yrs Margaret nee Sangmeister his Son Carl (Connie) daughter Joan (John) Connor granddaughter Carrie (Jeff) Palmer, grandsons Raymond & Edward Connor, and Great Grandson Alexander Palmer, brother Frank (late Annette) Fleck
Preceded by his parents Karl & Theresa (nee Eberhart) Fleck brothers Charles (late Kate), Michael (late Pauline) John (Elvera), sisters Theresa (Elmer) Retzloff & Elsie (Chester) Kruzinski
Arthur was President of Rose Hill Cemetery in Frankfort for over 50 yrs, 50yr member of Joliet Masons, Moose Member for many years & Commander of the Three Rivers Yacht Club
Visitation will be Sunday 2 pm to 7 pm at Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life
Lying in state Monday 10:30 am until time of Funeral Service 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church 805 Western Ave. Joliet, Illinois
