Arlyn L. Papesh

Arlyn L. Papesh (nee Kohlhagen), age 79, at rest on Thursday, April 17, 2014.
Survived by her loving children, Mike, Pat (Karen), Tony (Cheryl) and David (Barb Zanio) Papesh; grandchildren, Kelly, Kristin, Lauryn, Sheila, and Dan; siblings, Donis (the late Frank) Suski and John (JoAnn) Kohlhagen; sister-in-law Pat (the late James) Kohlhagen; and a close niece, Nikki. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Papesh; her parents, Wilbur and Arlene (nee Keeler) Kohlhagen; and her brother, James Kohlhagen.
Arlyn had a passion for cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends, Jerry Kettwig, Ginny Fleming and Nancy Zlogar. Arlyn was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and sister who will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Arlyn's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Fund would be appreciated.
A celebration of Arlyn's life will begin on Monday, April 21, 2014 with a visitation at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3-8 p.m. There will be a service held in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 p.m. concluding the visitation. Per Arlyn's wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood joined with her late husband Joseph.
