Anton R. Kupina

Anton R. "Tony" Kupina, age 87, entered into eternal life on Saturday, January 3, 2015.

Tony is survived by his sister, Anne Kupina; three nephews, James (the late Margaret), Robert (Andrea), and Donald (Patricia) Kupina; one niece, Karen (Dean) Bentley; as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Preceded in death by his loving wife Dolores "Lolita" Kupina; brothers and sister, Michael (Mary) Kupina, Mary (Edmond) Foley, Joseph (Lola) Kupina, and Paul (Pauline) Kupina; and niece, Barbara Taylor.

Tony was an Iron Worker with Local #444 for over 30 years. Tony served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of Presence Villa Franciscan and Presence Hospice.

A Celebration of Tony's life will begin on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 with a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill. There will be NO VISITATION OR SERVICES held at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Per Tony's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
