Age 88 of Waukegan, IL., at rest on Monday, February 2, 2009 surrounded by his devoted wife. Survived by his loving wife Mary E. Krasovec. They were married at Chapel 2 Fort Monmouth Red Bank, NJ and recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on January 1, 2009. Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law; many special nieces, nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews;. Preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Ann (nee Vidmar) Krasovec; three brothers Jacob Skala, Jerry and Matthew Krasovec; four sisters Ann Kraus, Rose Milavec, Elizabeth Krasovec and Agnes Steinbach. Anton served in the U.S. 8th Air Force during WWII stationed in Europe in 1945. Receiving the American Theater Ribbon EAME Theater Ribbon with 3 Bronze Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal World War II 1 Service Stripe. Member of the Cantigny Post #367 and American Legion Post #1080. Tony worked for 33 years as a radar technican at Navelex Sysengcen. Tony had a compassionate caregiver Regina Taylor.
