Anna Maria Ranachowski (nee Matejcak)

Age 47 at rest suddenly on Wednesday December 26, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Survived by her beloved husband of seven years Daniel J. Ranachowski, loving daughter of Andrew J. and Mary Evelyn (nee Orenic) Matejcak Sr. , loving daughter-in-law to Muriel (nee Getty) and Daniel Stacey, dearest sister to Theresa (Michael Aedo) Matejcak, Andrew J. (Kathleen) Matejcak Jr. and Michael J. (Ricki) Matejcak. Beloved nephews Andrew, Eric and Brian Matejcak. Godmother Irene (Edward) Batis and Godfather John A. Matejcak. Also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by grandparents Michael J. and Anna S. Orenic and John and Mary F. Matejcak, aunts and uncles.

Anna M. Ranachowski was born in Joliet and resided in Plainfield for the past seven years, was a graduate of St. Patrick grade school in Joliet, Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, and Illinois State University. She was employed by A T&T as an Executive Director for the past twenty five years. Member of the Joliet Jaycees, Ducky 56ers, AT & T Pioneers and St. Mary Immaculate Parish of Plainfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Patrick School of Joliet would be appreciated. Anna will be dearly missed by her family and her friends.

Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life

From where funeral services will be held on Monday December 31, 2007 at 9:45 am to St. Mary Immaculate Church of Plainfield for a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
