Anna Orsini Horvat
January 30, 1947 — June 27, 2015
Anna Orsini Horvat, "Mom"/"Noni", age 68, born in San Vittorino, Italy; went home to be with the Lord and her family on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
Survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Leonard Horvat; loving children Lonnie (Joanna), Lawrence (Monica) Horvat and Laurie (Dusty) Kwasigroch. Grandmother of R.J., Grant, PFC Alex Cieszynski USMC, Kayla, Dylan, Nicholas and Spencer; great-grandmother to Landon, and sister to Rose (late Paul) Ciancanelli. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents, Amedeo and Antoniella (Carusi) Orsini, brothers, Tonino and Alfredo (late Fioranna) Orsini and one sister, Angelina (late Bernardino) Carusi.
Anna was a member of the American Italian Cultural Society where she enjoyed playing Crazy Rummy with her husband and dear friends. Anna also enjoyed making the women of the town beautiful by styling their hair every week for over 30 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as close family and friends. Anna will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Anna's Hospice nurses Heather, Pam, Sue and Chris as well as CNAs Linda and Colleen for their very loving care and friendship. Thank you Carina Zepeda for your care and friendship to Anna.
In lieu of flowers donations in Anna's name may be made to Morning Star Mission or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Anna's life will begin on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 with prayers at the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Anne Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 3-8 p.m.
