Anna V. Gregorash, (nee Thomas), age 98, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2010 with her three children at her side, after living a rich and remarkable life.
Ann was born on March 29, 1912 in Hibbing, MN to the late Michael and Pauline (nee Bozich) Thomas. In 1926 she moved to Joliet where she met Anton ""Tony"" Gregorash. They were married on April 30, 1930. In 1936 they moved to Sunnyland in Plainfield into a one room house, and in 1939 moved down the street into a home that Tony built himself for his family. She was a tailor, making suits for Hart Schaffner and Marx in her early years, and will forever fondly be remembered for her heart full of love that was expressed through her baking, quilting and embroidery work. Ann was a long-time Chicago Cub fan.
