Annie passed away suddenly January 24, 2022 in Largo, Florida with her husband Jack by her side. She was a lifelong resident of Joliet, Illinois. Upon retirement she and her husband became "snow birds" and purchased their second home in Largo Florida. Annie and Jack spent many years traveling the United States. They visited and enjoyed every state in this country except Alaska. They took a few cruises and were avid golfers. Any activity Jack enjoyed or wanted to try, Ann was always ready, willing and able to learn. He never had to look far for a fishing buddy, tennis partner,or traveling companion. Any adventure or interest, Ann was on board. She loved doing everything with him and together they made a perfect pair. They enjoyed many years with their "Com Ed" friends playing cards, sharing dinners, picnics and pool parties.
Ann was always there for each and every one of her five children. In good times or bad we could always count on our mother. Our hearts are broken but the memories we share and our parents faith in God will sustain us until we are together again someday.
Ann is survived by her beloved husband of almost sixty eight years: John "Jack" Rogers, five children: Deborah (John) Knowski, Kathleen (The late James) Cummings, John (Mary) Rogers, Rebecca (Matthew) Ramuta and Suzanne (Forest) Vaughn. She has ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three great-great granddaughters and one niece; Carole Tucker all who love and will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Fred & Anna Kinn, her uncle Joseph Wilson, her in-laws; Edward & Celia Rogers, her sister-in-law Dorothy (Rogers) Kehring and her son-in-law James Cummings.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ann's name to Our Lady of Angels, 1201 Wyoming Ave., Joliet, Il 60435 would be greatly appreciated.
