Andrew Paul Pavlik, age 72, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 with his loving family by his side.
Andrew is survived by his loving children, Douglas (Felicity) Pavlik, Marc (Tara) Pavlik, Jennifer (Phillip) Dawalt; grandchildren, Sydney, Austin, and Casey Pavlik, Bailey and Trenham Agnew; sister, Victoria (Frank) Silhavy; two sister-in-laws Lois (the late Ronald);and Roberta (Bernie) Kreiner; brother-in-law Joe Hogan.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years Rosemarie; parents Andrew and Victoria (nee Horak) Pavlik; sister Evelyn Hogan.
Andrew was born and raised in Chicago, IL. He served in the United States Army for four years. He was employed by Waste Management for 40 plus years. His family was very important to him. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Andrew enjoyed going on vacation to Lake Puckaway and Las Vegas. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.
Donations in Andrew’s name to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Andrew’s life will begin on Monday, June 13, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. then driving in procession to Holy Family Catholic Church in Shorewood for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice. Visitation will be on Sunday June 12, 2016 at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
