Andrew A�??AndyA�?i�� J. Jaskowiak, age 86, entered into eternal life, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, with loving wife of 62 years by his side.

Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine (nee Lorek); daughter, Marcia Groves; grandchildren, Christopher Groves and Alicia Groves; brother, Robert (Mary Jean) Jaskowiak; sister-in-law, Pat (the late Gerald) Jaskowiak; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Jaskowiak; parents, Andrew Sr. and Catherine; brothers, Edward (Betty), Chester (Josephine), and Gerald; and sister, Mary Louise (Oliver) Evans.

Andy loved to polka, fish, gamble at the boat, and go to ball games with his family and friends. He was a lifetime member of Holy Cross and belonged to American Legion Post 1080. Andy worked at Mechling Barge Lines in Joliet and Joliet Marine Supply in Channahon for 40 years and later worked in maintenance at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet for 10 years.

A Celebration of Andrew JaskowiakA�??s life will begin on Friday, July 19, 2013 with prayers at the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. then moving in procession to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville. Visitation will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet.
