Alysse Victoria Nicholson, age 14, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 24, 2011. Precious daughter of Jim and Sharon; loving sister of Cara and Katie. Beloved granddaughter of Paul and Judith Pipiras, James and (the late) Lorraine Nicholson. Niece, cousin, and friend of many. A Celebration of Alysse"s life will begin at the funeral home on Monday, February 28, 2011 with prayers at 9:30 am, then in procession to the Cathedral of St. Raymond for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am, then interment at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Alysse"s name to Children"s Memorial Hospital Neuro Oncology Research Fund, 2300 Children"s Plaza, Box 30, Chicago, IL 60614.
