Alice M. Minnick

Alice M. Minnick (nee Buchar), age 90, passed away on January 16th, 2021 at Amita Saint Joseph Medical Center.

Alice is survived by her beloved children; Calvin Minnick, Mary (Ron) Madding, Edward Minnick, Sally (Tony) Orsini, Joan (Charles) Dietz and James Minnick; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Minnick; son, Mark Minnick; daughters-in-law, Dorothy and Carolyn Minnick; son-in-law, Elish “Tom” McKenzie; parents, Jospeh and Frances Buchar, father and mother-in-law, Frank and Jenny Minnick and sister, Lillian (Albert) Cop.

Alice resided most of her life in Joliet, IL. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time fishing with her husband and playing Bingo.

A celebration of Alice’s life will begin on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Tezak Funeral Home with a visitation from 10 am to 11 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11 am. Alice will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Joliet next to her husband Calvin.
