Albert E. Gregory, Age 96, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 22, 2014.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 65 years; Mary Ann (nee Mihelic) numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; Francis and Frances (nee Siegal) Gregorich; brothers; Frank, Joseph, and Aloysius, and sisters; Rose, Amelia, Elizabeth, Mary, Chris, and Tillie.

Albert was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country during World War II. He was a member of the St. Joseph Holy Name Society, Will County Old-Timers' Baseball Association and American Legion Post #1080. He was a Fourth degree member of Knights of Columbus # 382, a pitcher for the Speed Boys Club and a founder of the Young League Baseball of Fairmont. Albert had a long and happy life. He will be missed by many. All who knew him loved him and he returned that love.

A celebration of Albert's life will begin on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 with prayers in the funeral home chapel beginning at 10:30 a.m. then driving in procession to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery . Visitation will be on Wednesday morning March 26, 2014 from 9 a.m. until time of services at Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Road, Joliet, IL 60435. St. Joseph Holy Name Society will meet at 9:30 a.m.
