Agnes C. Rivera

Age 71, entered eternal life on April 16, 2007 at home after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Costos; six children, Jessica (Dave), Nolen, Frank Lopez (Lisa Olinger), Cindy (Mark) Himes, Richard (Terri) Lopez, Linda Purkart (Gary Partak), Anita Platt (Paul Watson). Eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by five sisters, Shirl (Henry) Gonzalez, Juanita Lopez, Midge (Paul) Lopez, Jackie (Frank) Bati, Rose (Rueben) Garcia. One brother Joe (Linda) Hernandez, aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her mother Mildred (Dioscoro) Hernandez and step-father Santos Nunez; and beloved son Michael Costos.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Glady's name to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated. They were such a blessing to us, especially her nurse, Barb Davis.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 9:30 AM with a chapel service at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2007.
Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-8 PM.
