Agnes Grabavoy

Agnes Grabavoy, age 79, passed away suddenly Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.
Agnes was born in Joliet and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Joliet Township High School, and McCormick Business College in Joliet. Agnes worked for the Joliet Arsenal for 10 years before retiring after 24 years with the Will County Circuit Clerk"s office in 1988.
Preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Grabavoy. 3 brothers; Ned and Ted Grabavoy and infant George.
Survived by 2 brothers; Alex (Danica) and John (Marcia) Grabavoy both of Joliet. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Agnes Grabavoy will be held Saturday July 16, 2011 at 9:15 a.m. from Tezak"s Home to Celebrate Life to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church for services to be held at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8 p.m. with a short Panachida Service at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:30 a.m. until time of services at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
