Joan Arlene Morse

November 22, 1950 — January 11, 2013

Joan Arlene Morse, nee Confiliano, age 62, of Shorewood, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at home surrounded by family members after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of David Morse; dear daughter of LaVerne Lisdero ,nee Guardia; loving mother of Anthony (Jeannine) Morse, Jennifer (Eric Pablo) Morse, Michael Morse, Kimberly (Brian) Perkins, and Megan Morse; proud Nana of Timothy Casillas, Kate Morse, Brian Morse, Andrew Morse, Nicholas Perkins, Alyssa Perkins, and Audrey Pablo; sister of Carol (Joseph) Ward, Donald (MaryLynn) Confiliano, James (Lynn) Confiliano; also survived by various nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her father, Dominick Confiliano.

Joan was a graduate of St. Francis Academy (A�??68) and Silver Cross Hospital School of X-Ray Technology. She worked as an x-ray technician for over 40 years and was a member of the St. Jude parish in Joliet. She was a devoted wife who embraced life, loved gardening, dancing and being a wife, a mother and a Nana.

A Celebration of JoanA�??s life will begin on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 9:30 am with prayers at the funeral home chapel, then moving in procession to St. Jude Church, Joliet for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Tezak's Home to Celebrate Life.
